On Wednesday we did Anzac activities.
First we entered the trenches witch were made out of strings.
Second we did a basic facts test with Ms Jones putting gun sounds.
Third we answered maths questions about the wars and their years.
Forth we ate our fruit and did our exersises lying down.
Fifth we wrote a letter to our family from the trenches and when you were finished you wrote a poem.
Sixth we were split into two groups one was swimming while the other was doing a pictodraw.
Finally before it was home time we got in groups of two and unravelled the strings.
One of each pair was blindfolded.
I thought it was one of the best days of my life.
Hi Jerome
ReplyDeleteMy name is Leonora from Pt England school. I like your picture of your class under the tables acting like it was in the trenches. It was so cool and also I liked how Ms Jones put gun sounds to make it seem real. Keep up the great work.
Hi Jerome
ReplyDeleteIt's me Leonora again. What is your class learning about this week? This term we are learning about the 4 main Earth Systems.I have been learning about the biosphere. What have you been learning about?
Hi Jerome, my name is Syed from New Windsor School. The Anzac day activity is so cool! How did you even put on all those strings and get up for lunch? Its cool that you cut all of those strings blind folded! Did you enjoy doing that activity?
ReplyDeleteThank you Syed for saying that. Yes I did enjoy the activities. My favorite activity was when we were blindfolded and unraveled the strings. We did the activities to see what it was like in the war. Blog you later.
